The Seerapu Famliy

I asked Aruna Seerapu if I can take some pictures of her precious little girl Celina. I ended up taking some pictures of this wonderful family, and a billion pictures of Celina :)

Little Celina was super happy for the first half of the shoot, but towards the end she got a liiiiittle bit grumpy...but her grumpy face is the cutest thing ever!

This is her signature grin. Look at her dimples!
I couldn't stop smiling while taking these pictures...she's just too adorable.

You see what I mean? She was SUPER happy! She kept wiggling, smiling, laughing. She's so funny!

Celina says: "Stop taking pictures Aunty! I'm tired of the camera in my face!"

teehee. This one is my favorite :)

mommy's lipstick mark :)

I absolutely LOVE her glossy eyes. She's going to be the prettiest girl on the block :)

I remember having sandals like this once upon a time...

"Unma the flower Celina!"
and she did it :)

I love these traditional Indian dresses. I want one for myself hehe

Celina couldn't decide whether to have her mother assist her in putting the jewelry on, doing it herself, or taking it off haha.

And this picture concluded our photoshoot for the day!

I really enjoyed photographing this family!
and afterwards...they fed us some ono kine Indian curry and rice.
it was the best curry I've ever had. literally.
Shout out to the Seerapu family,
I love you guys! Good luck in India :)

Meet Fred & George.

all these pictures are similar...but I couldn't stop takin pics!
I know this is blurry, but I desperately wanted a picture with the baby kittens..

I want one some day! :)

a little bit of heaven on earth

My parents came to visit the beautiful island of Oahu almost a week ago now. They came at the perfect time too! :) David and I weren't too busy with classes, we had a long (memorial day) weekend, and the weather was great (for the most part).
We had so much fun, and when it came time for them to leave, we shed buckets and buckets of tears.
I am embarrassed to say that I broke first haha

Anyway, if I were to sum up the whole week with my family in one word it would be SHOPPING.
My family lives in Japan, so they (mostly mom) get really excited to shop in the states. I didn't mind at all since I am daughter of a big shopper :) I love shopping. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't shop at all.

I'm glad I have a husband who understands and doesn't mind me shopping either!

Hoorah for understanding husbands :)

Unfortunately, I didn't really take many pictures while they were here. I kept forgetting I had my camera with me. In fact, I literally forgot my camera in the hotel room after we checked out. I didn't realize it until after dinner!

 we went to haleiwa eats.
love that place :D

 kawaii!!
 turtle bay is so serene
 guess where this is!
 last morning together...:(
 cuties
my mom looks like my sister!
 dad's surprised face!
she didn't want to leave hawaii, and most importantly...us!
 I LOVE MY MAMA!

About forty minutes after my parents left I realized that I forgot my bag with our passports and phone in their rental car...so we had to meet them half way from kaneohe. I felt so bad...good thing they didn't miss their flight!

That night we went to food fest with some friends and ate some BOMB thai food and chinese food :)

my cute lil thai friend named WI!
our awesome next door neighbors. we love em!

I'm so grateful to have family and friends who love and care for us!
